Guess when I wrote that I was in a mood. I had had a bellyfull of some of the things I'd been reading and experiencing. Guess the post ran so long that no one noticed the penultimate sentence: "But if the Church dies in Him, She will be raised anew in Him." However, it's true that my thoughts were Western centered. Thanks to Betchadupa, we have the perspective of the church in the East. Thanks to Mike, we have another perspective of the Church down through history. Thanks to both of you. Good stuff.
